This Summer I wrote myself a postcard from my trip to Guatemala (read more about it here). It was a letter to myself- thoughts I wanted to remember 6 months from my return. 
A dear sweet friend held on to this postcard for months and then sent it back to me. This precious postcard (which apparently survived the scars of USPS) could not have come on a better day.
I've been feeling stretched lately. In efforts to discover who I am "outside of infertility", all my imperfections have come to light. I am trying to learn forgiveness and patience, kindness and peace. I am trying to understand God's plan for me and walk His path. I am trying to be more kind to myself. I am learning to love myself.
These were the words on the back of that post card:
"Don't forget how hard you worked to get here. Don't forget how blessed you are to have experienced all this. You have helped change lives, your life has been changed. Remember the happiness that radiates from these people. You don't need money or things to be happy. But with your abundance, serve as many as you can. You have been given special gifts that can be used for great things. Don't hide your light under a bushel. Shine with God's goodness and help others find hope."
This gave me just the spark I needed to refuel my fire! It said just what I needed it to say today (man I'm good ☺)
My message for you today is the same: Don't forget how hard you worked to get here! Don't forget how blessed you are to have experienced all this! You have helped change lives, your life has been changed! With your abundance, serve as many as you can! You have been given special gifts that can be used for great things! Be kind to yourself! Realize your worth! You are not (insert trial). You are strength. You are experience. You are incredible!
